SHIELD DC is uniting 26 organisations across 11 countries.
SHIELD is a Marie Skłodowska-Curie Doctoral Network uniting 26 organisations across 11 countries: Sweden, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Norway, Spain, France, the United Kingdom, Switzerland, the Netherlands, and the United States. Through this international collaboration, SHIELD fosters partnerships across sectors and geographies to train 16 Doctoral Candidates in a unique environment that bridges basic science and clinical application.
The consortium is coordinated by the Department of Biomaterials, Institute of Clinical Sciences, Sahlgrenska Academy at the University of Gothenburg, Sweden. This international network includes 12 beneficiaries and 14 associated partners, spanning academia, industry, hospitals, and research foundations.
