Project Description
Short description: DC11 will develop and evaluate nanostructured implant surfaces designed to reduce bacterial adhesion and promote soft tissue healing. The project includes in vitro testing of biofilm formation and tissue compatibility, and a clinical study comparing customized, anatomically shaped devices with traditional designs. These efforts aim to improve implant success rates and manage infections effectively amid rising antimicrobial resistance.
